Electric / Rock Guitar Course
From adjusting settings on an amp to handling the instrument with good technique, the Electric/ Rock Guitar Course covers all the essentials of electric guitar playing. Genre specific chord shapes, techniques and licks are part of this informative and exciting program. Theory knowledge necessary to supplement successful improvisation are also a focal point. Classes are conducted individually and upon mastery of the basics, students can choose to pursue exams in the Electric Guitar or Rock Guitar Syllabus provided by the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT). Sonare recommends 8 years old as an ideal age to begin formal guitar lessons but can accept younger students on a case-by-case basis.
Examinations provided the Registry of Guitar Tutors, accredited by London College of Music (LCM), Awarded by University of West London (UWL) are an available option for students seeking grading and qualifications in their music studies.
